On Saturday, February 3rd, twenty-nine Gordon County 4-H students in grades 4-6 competed in the Project Achievement Competition at Georgia Highlands College, assisted by eight teen leaders.  Project Achievement is a public speaking competition where students pick a project area of interest, research the topic, write a 4-6 minute presentation, create posters and other visual aids to go with the presentation, and then present the project to others.

In competition, there are over 60 different project categories, most of which include oral presentations, though some 4-H members competed in special presentations in food preparation, sewing, or the performing arts categories of instrumental, vocal, and dance.  Gordon County 4-H was in the top 3 for highest percentage of winners and highest percentage of 1st place winners!

Below is the list of SES 4-H presenters and winners.  The presentation and what place they earned is listed, if applicable. SES thanks the 4-H program for everything they provide for our students to learn and experience. This was an amazing learning opportunity for everyone involved. Congratulations!
