Mr. Brian Hall is a Gordon County native who graduated from Gordon Central in 2006. He received his undergraduate degree in 2010 from Kennesaw State University, and one year later began teaching language arts at Ashworth Middle School. He then moved to Gordon Central to teach video production and A.P. Literature. He received his Master’s degree at Piedmont College and is currently working on his Leadership Specialist through Valdosta State. His wife, Elisha, currently teaches at Sonoraville High School as an ESS math instructor.

Brian is very excited to join the Phoenix family and become a member of the Sonoraville community. “I am overjoyed with the opportunity to work with Principal Amy Beason to help prepare and motivate our students for success.” Sonoraville Elementary believes in Strength in Every Student, and Mr. Hall’s teaching philosophy stresses the importance of helping students “discover their talents, interests, and passion.” He looks forward to meeting and working with Sonoraville Elementary’s outstanding, dedicated staff.

Mr. Hall’s prior leadership experience includes being gifted coordinator, department chair, a school governance council member, and SACS Chairman. He was selected last year as the Gordon County Schools Teacher of the Year and was recently selected as Gordon Central’s 2017 STAR Teacher.
